Customer service
Customer service, staffed inside the warehouse
Your customers, answered under your brand, by people who can see your inventory and walk over and look at the shelf.
Minimus Fulfillment staffs customer service on site, in the same building as your merchandise and in the same systems as the warehouse. The team answers your customers directly on your behalf, runs an enterprise ticketing system, and liaises with your own brand team on anything needing a decision from your side.
Why it matters that they are in the building
Most outsourced customer service sits somewhere else entirely, which means every question about a shipment becomes an email chain: the agent asks the warehouse, the warehouse asks the floor, the floor answers tomorrow, the customer waits. Our agents are already there. A question about what actually shipped gets answered by someone standing up and looking at it.
That is the whole argument, and it is a simple one. The two functions ask each other questions constantly, and when they sit in different buildings at different companies, every one of those questions costs a day.
What the team handles
- Answering your customers directly, on your behalf — under your brand name, in your voice, following the rules and tone you set
- An enterprise ticketing system, so nothing gets lost, response times are measured, and you can see what came in and how it was handled
- Liaison with your own brand team on anything that needs a decision from your side, rather than guessing or stalling the customer
- Order status, tracking and delivery exceptions — the bulk of any e-commerce inbox
- Address changes and cancellations while an order is still catchable on the floor
- Damage and shortage claims, resolved against product we can physically inspect
- Return authorizations tied to the returns process in the same building
- Escalation rules you define, so the things you want to see still reach you
How it works in practice
- We learn your brand. Tone, policies, what is negotiable and what is not, and the three or four situations you want handled a specific way.
- Channels point to us. Email, contact form, and whichever other channels you want covered, routed into the ticketing system.
- We answer as you. Customers see your brand, not ours.
- Anything we cannot decide comes to you, packaged with what we already know rather than as a forwarded email.
- You see the record. Volumes, themes and response times, so the inbox becomes something you can learn from instead of something you dread.
What it tends to catch
A customer service function sitting inside the warehouse notices things a remote one cannot: a packaging problem showing up in three complaints the same week, a SKU that generates more questions than its volume justifies, a carrier lane running slow. That feedback loop is worth as much as the ticket handling itself, and it is the part brands tell us they did not expect.
Common questions
Do you offer outsourced customer service?
Yes, staffed on site alongside your inventory. The team answers your customers directly on your behalf, runs an enterprise ticketing system, and liaises with your brand team on anything needing a decision from your side.
Will customers know they are talking to a third party?
No. The team answers under your brand name, in your voice, following the policies you set.
What channels do you cover?
Email and contact-form inquiries as standard, with other channels handled case by case. Tell us where your customers actually reach you and we will scope it.
Do I have to use your fulfillment to use your customer service?
It works far better together, because the advantage is that the agents can see and physically check your inventory. That is the whole point of the arrangement.
How do escalations work?
You define the rules — refund thresholds, VIP customers, anything touching legal or PR — and those come to your team with the context already gathered.
