Where we came from

Minimus began as a consumer products business — sourcing, packaging, warehousing and shipping our own goods, at volume, for years. The fulfillment business grew out of that operation. We had the building, the systems and the people, and brands kept asking whether we would run their shipping too.

That history is why the service list looks the way it does. Packaging sourcing, kitting, retail compliance and customer service are on it because we needed all of them ourselves. A 3PL founded by logistics people tends to optimize the warehouse. A 3PL founded by brand operators tends to optimize what happens to the brand.

How we work

• You get people, not a queue. The team that runs your account can walk out to the rack and look at your inventory while you are on the phone.
• We use the tools you already use. ShipStation is the hub, so there is no proprietary portal to learn and nothing to migrate away from if you ever leave.
• We say no when the answer is no. If a program needs a certification we do not hold or a temperature we cannot provide, you will hear it in the first conversation.
• We treat clients as partners. If something useful crosses our desk that fits one of them — a contact, a cost saving, an idea — we pass it along. It is not in any contract.
• No long-term contract. We would rather earn the next month.

The wider Minimus family

Minimus Fulfillment shares ownership with two affiliated companies. They are separate legal entities with their own licenses and their own management, and we are explicit about which entity does which work.

For a brand, the practical benefit is that packaging development, co-packing and fulfillment can be coordinated without managing three unrelated vendors. The practical limit is that each entity answers for its own compliance, and we do not blur that line.
