Amazon prep and seller-fulfilled orders
FNSKU labeling, polybagging, bundling and shipment creation for FBA — or hold your inventory with us and fulfill Amazon orders yourself.
Minimus Fulfillment preps inventory for Amazon FBA from Thousand Oaks, California: FNSKU labeling, polybagging and suffocation warnings, bundling and multipacks, expiration date marking, carton labeling and shipment plan creation. We also fulfill seller-fulfilled (FBM) Amazon orders directly from the warehouse.
FBA prep services
- FNSKU labeling applied over the manufacturer barcode
- Polybagging with suffocation warnings where Amazon requires them
- Bundling and multipacks built and labeled as a single sellable unit
- Expiration date marking per Amazon’s formatting requirement, which matters for every supplement and food seller
- Carton content labeling and box marking
- Shipment plan creation and carrier booking into the fulfillment centers Amazon assigns
- Inspection and rework when a container arrives and something is not right
FBA, FBM, or both
| Amazon FBA | Seller-fulfilled from Minimus | |
|---|---|---|
| Who ships the order | Amazon | We do, from our warehouse |
| Prime badge | Yes, automatically | Only through Seller Fulfilled Prime, which has its own requirements |
| Inventory location | Amazon’s fulfillment centers | Our building, alongside your DTC and wholesale stock |
| Long-term storage cost | Amazon storage fees, which escalate for slow-moving stock | Standard warehouse storage |
| Best for | Fast-moving, well-ranked SKUs | Slower SKUs, oversized items, bundles, and holding buffer stock |
Most brands we work with end up running both: fast movers in FBA, everything else fulfilled from our building, with a reserve pool here to restock Amazon without waiting on a new production run.
Why prep near the ports
If your goods arrive through the ports of Los Angeles or Long Beach, prepping in Ventura County means the container is opened, inspected, prepped and forwarded without a cross-country leg first. We are roughly an hour from the ports.
A note for supplement and food sellers
Amazon has specific expiration-date labeling requirements, and inventory that arrives incorrectly marked gets refused or destroyed. We are an FDA-registered facility that handles this category every day, and we mark dates to Amazon’s format as part of prep rather than as an afterthought.
Common questions
Are you an Amazon prep center?
Yes. We prep inventory for FBA from our Thousand Oaks, California facility, including FNSKU labeling, polybagging, bundling, expiration date marking, carton labeling and shipment creation.
Can you receive a container directly?
Yes. Containers can be delivered to our facility, unloaded, inspected against your packing list, prepped, and forwarded to Amazon or put away as your own inventory.
Do you do Seller Fulfilled Prime?
We fulfill seller-fulfilled Amazon orders. Seller Fulfilled Prime carries specific speed and performance requirements from Amazon, so whether it works depends on your product and where your customers are. It is worth a specific conversation rather than a blanket yes.
Can you store my Amazon overflow inventory?
Yes, and this is one of the most common reasons brands use us alongside FBA. Amazon storage gets expensive for slow-moving stock, and holding a reserve here lets you restock FBA in small, frequent shipments instead of sending everything at once.
What happens if a shipment arrives damaged or short?
We count and inspect at receiving, document what arrived, and tell you before anything is prepped — which is the point at which a claim against the supplier or carrier is still possible.
