Minimus Fulfillment stores and ships dietary supplements from an FDA-registered facility in Thousand Oaks, California that is also registered with the California Department of Public Health for food warehousing, with a separate organic registration. We handle the category every day, including subscription programs, bundles and Amazon prep.
The question that actually matters
Is the facility registered? Holding dietary supplement product for commerce requires it. Minimus LLC holds its own FDA registration plus California food warehousing registration, and a separate organic registration for certified organic product.
Worth knowing how to check: registrations belong to a legal entity at a physical address. Ask any 3PL you are evaluating which entity holds theirs, and confirm it matches the building your product will actually sit in. It is a short question and the answer is revealing.

A straight answer on lot tracking
Lot and expiration information is captured on inbound inventory as part of normal receiving. Recording a specific lot number against every individual outbound shipment is different: it is not an automatic feed, it means a manual capture step on the pick line, and we price it as an optional service rather than including it by default.
Most supplement brands do not need it. It is not a requirement for dietary supplement fulfillment, and plenty of well-run programs operate without it. If your own quality system, a retailer, or your insurer requires shipment-level lot capture, say so during quoting and we will scope it properly rather than discovering the expectation later.
Where we fit in your supply chain
We are the registered warehouse and fulfillment operation. Manufacturing sits with your manufacturer, and 21 CFR Part 111 — the cGMP rule some 3PLs cite loosely — governs them rather than us. Our affiliated company Minimus Products handles contract filling of liquids, powders and particulates in its own facility, so packaging and co-packing can be coordinated through one relationship while each entity answers for its own compliance. We handle shelf-stable product; for refrigerated storage we have a referral partner.
Peptides, SARMs and grey-area categories
We field this question regularly. Products whose regulatory status is unsettled create real exposure for the warehouse holding them, and we evaluate these case by case rather than taking a blanket position. If that is your category, raise it early — we would rather have the conversation than discover it at receiving.
Common questions
Do I need an FDA-registered warehouse to sell supplements?
Facilities that hold dietary supplement product for commerce in the United States are required to be registered with the FDA. If your 3PL is not registered, that is a gap in your compliance chain, and one your retailers or auditors may eventually ask about. Minimus LLC holds its own FDA registration.
Do you record lot numbers on outbound shipments?
Optionally, at additional cost. Lot and expiration data comes in with the inventory as part of receiving, but capturing a lot number against every individual outbound order is a manual step rather than an automatic feed, so we price it as an add-on. It is not a requirement for supplement fulfillment and most brands do not use it — but if your quality system or a retailer needs it, tell us during quoting.
Are you cGMP certified?
No, and it would be the wrong claim for a warehouse to make. 21 CFR Part 111 governs the manufacture, packaging, labeling and holding of dietary supplements by manufacturers. We are a fulfillment operation working within a registered facility, and we describe ourselves accordingly.
Can you handle organic supplements?
Yes. We hold a separate organic registration alongside our food warehousing registration and can supply documentation if your certifier asks about the facility handling your product.
Can you prep supplements for Amazon FBA?
Yes, including expiration date marking in Amazon’s required format. Incorrectly marked inventory gets refused or destroyed at the fulfillment center, so this is worth getting right the first time.
Do you handle supplement subscription programs?
Yes, through your subscription platform. Auto-ship programs are also a good fit for our discounted 3-day processing tier, since subscribers are generally not choosing on delivery speed.
