Apparel and accessories fulfillment

Deep size-and-color matrices picked accurately, folded and bagged to your standard, with a returns process designed before you need it.

Minimus Fulfillment handles apparel and accessories at volume, including the parts of the category that trip up smaller 3PLs: SKU depth across size and color, folding and poly bagging to a presentation standard, hang-tag and price-ticket application, high return rates, and retail packs built floor-ready to a retailer’s specification. Apparel is one of our largest categories.

Apparel is a SKU-count problem before it is a volume problem

One style in six sizes and four colors is twenty-four locations to hold, pick accurately and count. Add the return rate that comes with buying clothing online and the operational picture looks nothing like a single-SKU brand doing the same order count. Pick accuracy and cycle counting matter more here than almost anywhere else, and a warehouse that has not done apparel at depth will tell you it is fine right up until your inventory stops reconciling.

What we do for apparel and accessories brands

  • Size and color matrix storage with accurate picking across deep SKU counts
  • Folding, poly bagging and presentation to your standard — we will match a spec or a sample
  • Hang tags, care labels and price tickets applied to your requirement
  • Accessories — bags, hats, jewelry, small leather goods and the odd shapes that come with them
  • Returns receiving, inspection, refolding and restocking, or routing to seconds
  • Retail packs and pre-ticketed wholesale shipments built to routing guides
  • Drop and collaboration launches with volume that ignores the trailing average
  • Branded pack-outs, tissue, cards and inserts where the unboxing matters

Returns, planned properly

Apparel returns are not an exception to handle later — they are a permanent second inbound stream, and the brands that struggle are the ones who treated them as an afterthought. Worth settling at onboarding:

  1. What passes inspection. Your criteria, written down, so decisions are consistent.
  2. What happens to what fails. Seconds, donation, disposal, or return to you.
  3. How fast it goes back on the shelf. Restocking speed is inventory you can sell again, and in a fast-moving season it is the difference between a second sale and a markdown.
  4. Who talks to the customer. Our customer service team can handle return authorizations directly, in the same building as the returns themselves.

Drops and collaborations

A drop is a launch-day problem, not a monthly-average problem. Tell us the date and the expected volume and we will staff for it; the pack-out, the insert and the order in which things go in the box can all be different for that one release without it becoming a change request.

Common questions

Can you handle apparel with lots of sizes and colors?

Yes. Deep size-and-color matrices are a storage and pick-accuracy question rather than a volume question, and apparel is one of our largest categories.

Do you fold and poly bag?

Yes, to your standard. Presentation for apparel is part of the product, and we will match a spec or a sample.

Do you apply hang tags and price tickets?

Yes, including pre-ticketing for wholesale orders where the retailer requires it.

Do you process returns?

Yes. We receive, inspect against your criteria, and restock, route to seconds or dispose. For apparel this should be designed at onboarding rather than improvised later.

Can you handle a drop or collaboration launch?

Yes. Give us the date and the expected volume and we will staff for it. Launch-day spikes are normal work here rather than an exception.

Do you handle accessories as well as clothing?

Yes — bags, hats, jewelry, small leather goods and similar. The awkward shapes are a packaging question, and we design and source packaging in house.
